Black Hills Children's Home
Evans Orthodontics has donated orthodontic treatment to the Black Hills Children's Home for 30 years. It has been our pleasure to provide big, beautiful smiles for a lot of deserving kids.
Evans Orthodontic Scholar Athlete Award
Dr. James Evans started the Evans Orthodontic Scholar Athlete Award in 1987. The award is given to an 8th grade male and female student from area middle schools who try the hardest to excel in academics and athletics. Each winner receives a $75.00 savings bond and a certificate. The doctors at Evans Orthodontics have awarded over $35,000.00 dollars since the scholarship program began
Dr. James Evans has been a coach with the Post 22 baseball program for over 40 years.
Visits to Local Elementary Schools and the YMCA
Not only does our office want the most beautiful, straight smiles, but also the healthiest!! We enjoy educating children on the importance of dental health. Our team members make regular visits to area elementary schools and the local YMCA to show proper brushing and flossing techniques.
St. Elizabeth Seton Carnival
For the past few years, Evans Orthodontics has offered "Finger Casting" at this annual carnival. Mom’s really like it for their infants. They can have a "Special Keepsake" of their baby’s fist or foot. Sometimes the kids can get pretty creative with their casts! Our staff and the kids have lots of fun on this day!
